• Invariably, someone coming to our meet-ups brings treats to sweeten the afternoon. Eleanor baked these wonderful cupcakes decorated with cats’ faces and paw prints for Fiona’s birthday. They were delicious. Well done, Eleanor!
  • On Saturday, October 13, 2012, Jane Mitchell, award-winning author and Regional Advisor, presented a day-long workshop in Dublin on writing for children. This practical, hands-on workshop took place at the offices of Children’s Book Ireland with 8 enthusiastic participants and we all learned lots from Jane Mitchell’s excellent day!

Where in Ireland are you based? We have informal gatherings regularly in Cork, which is in the southwest of the country, and occasionally in Dublin, on the east coast, to try to give all our members a chance to attend in person.

For more information about upcoming in-person gatherings, see our Events Calendar. If you can’t meet in person, you can always keep in touch online through this website or through our Twitter account or Facebook page.
